Rainbow Six 3 Install Problem

I have tried five times to install this game and everytime
my system crashes. I insert the first disc and it installs
fine. The second disc installs fine at first but then my
system freezes up and I keep getting this error message:
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR
What does this mean? And how do I install this game? My
system meets or exceeds the requirements for it. I have
tried to copy the discs to my hard drive so I can install
from there. The first disc copies great. When I put the
second disc in, it locks up my PC then I get the above
error message. Please help!

James,

This sounds to me like a read error with the CD or your CD rom drive. Your
best bet to narrow it down would be to try the CD on another computer system
to see if a similar error occurs. If an error occurs on another computer
system, then the CD is somehow damaged and can be replaced.

If no errors occur, then you know nothing is wrong with the CD itself, but
that something within your computer is causing read errors with this CD.

If the disk itself is not the problem, please reply back to this post and
include a copy of your DXDiag text, which will help us to be able to set up
a similar test system here to see if we can reproduce the issue and try to
resolve this problem.

To reply with a dxdiag text:
Click on Start -> Run and type 'dxdiag' in the run box, then click 'Ok'.
When the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window appears you will see tabs across the
top click each tab and run the diagnostic tests on each. Then click the
'Save All Information' button, which will create a text file on your system
where you specify, as in My Documents or Desktop. Open that text file, copy
the contents and paste it to a reply.
