Raid Disk Failure

Does anyone know the following:

If a single disk fails in a Raid array what is the event
log entry that is made?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would depend upon several factors.
Is this a raid 5, or some other configuration?
Go into the hardware configuration utility where the raid array was created
and verify that all the disks are currently online.
Look for event 9,11, and 15 errors in the system log, and also look for scsi
timeout errors.
Look for any source of "disk".
Depending upon the manufacturer of your server, you may also have logs that
are independent of windows.
