RAID 0 on asus a7v333

I have been atempting to install an additional h/d, which
i was hoping to set up in a raid 0 configuration.

m/b asus a7v333
2* maxtor 40gb 6E040L0 h/d both of which are set as
masters.

My system has been runing perfectly with a single h/d,
however when i attempted to install a secong and reformat
the h/d i get an error message at setup telling me that
windows could not detect a h/d and that i should check all
the conections.

I have checked the conections and jumper settings on the
m/b, but obviously i am overlooking something.

Any help appreciated,

Are you sure that mother supports raid I think that brd
does not, and you may need to buy a raid controller card ok

You need to reinstall win using the F6 option to install third party drivers
ie raid drivers, from floppy
