Radeon Probe .. What is it?

I just downloaded the 3.9 drivers for my new ATI card and now in Device
Manager there is an entry for Probe Devices and under that something called
Radeon Probe Driver. Under properties the manufacturer is Chris W. Did a
search but was not able to find the answer ... I am relatively a newbie so
what is this and do I need it?

This is the driver for the RadClocker overclocking application.
You should see the configuration tab when you open the display
properties "advanced" panel.

Do you need it? No.
Did you install the Omega driver suite? If so, there should be
an uninstall icon located in the Omega start menu folder.
