HI @ all...

I think about to buy the Radeon HD 5770...

Is this card strong enough to play Crysis in 1920x1080...?

Is there a website where I see benchmarks...?

THX...

Bye, DUDI ;-)

Their is much more involved in obtaining good graphics performance than what
graphics card you have in your computer. A properly physically configured
computer is required. The operating system is important to keep clean and
away from unnecessary activities when game playing. Keep anti-virus
programs off when playing a game, keep back-end tasks to a minimum. Then
you should obtain excellent results using the HD 5770.

If you need to switch off antivirus just to get a decent frame rate then
either the antivirus program is crap (or from Norton) or your computer
is really old. Any somewhat newer low-end PC with dual core CPU can run
antivirus and all the standard background easily. You should only avoid
to do a full virus scan of your hard drive at the same time as it slows
down hard drive access.
A typical computer is doing over 20 tasks at any given time any more.
Especially one hooked up to the Internet that has Auto-Update used
extensively.

Auto-Update has nothing to do with the load, all it does is searching
for updates at intervals it is configured for which takes even less
ressources than antvirus programs in the background.

A standard modern dual core PC can easily reach very good game
performance with a simple standard installation.
