RADEON HD 4850 or gFORCE 9800 GTX

i play alot of second life. its a online 3d world. but now my hd 4850
lags. i have a 9800 GTX i have never instaled was woundering what u all
thaught about wich of the 2 i howd use. pros and cons if u will

I own a Radeon 4850, but I really prefer Nvidia drivers in terms of
quality.

I have a Radeon 4850 and now for testing purposes a Geforce 9800GTX+. I
put both through tests on the same system, and in most cases the Radeon
4850 is faster than the Geforce card.

The only advantage I see for the 9800GTX is CUDA if you need it. If not
then OpenCL should be available for both later during the year. Besides
that I think the Radeon gives a tad more bang for the buck.

As to the drivers, I really can't complain. The ATI drivers were often
problematic in the past, but since the Catalyst 8 series they are as
good as the Nvidia drivers.
