Radeon 9200 NG in DOS mode

I've got a new Radeon 9200 in a newly set up XP Home edition computer.
There is one old DOS application that I MUST run, but when the system
switches into DOS mode, the screen is somewhat OK, but all the text is
garbage.
Any ideas? Thanks Bonnie

Have you tried running the program in Compatibility Mode?

Thanks Cari, I thought your suggestion would do it for sure..... but
sadly, no. Tried all the differnt options of starting in basice
video, still the exact same thing.
