Radeon 7000 TV out problem

I've got a Radeon 7000 card in a Windows XP computer that I'm trying to use
as an MP3 player. I want to use my TV as the only monitor, connected to the
TV output of the card.

I can connect the TV with a monitor and view the video in Windows just fine
on both the TV and the monitor. When I disconnect the monitor, connect only
the TV, and reboot, Windows locks up on boot. Even after I disconnect the
TV and reconnect the monitor, Windows continues to lock up on boot and I
have to change the video card to get back into Windows.

I tried a Radeon 9200SE card, assuming that the video card was the problem,
but the 9200SE behaves exactly the same way.

I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone might have. Thanks.

I also have a computer with windows xp, and a radeon 7000. I have
crappy monitor that has been cutting out, so I decided to try and us
the card to use my tv as a monitor. I can't do it and I don't kno
why. I got it to kind of work with my monitor and tv. I also got i
to show on my tv by itself, except it's black and white and th
picture keeps flipping up. I have no idea what the heck I'm doing.
Somebody help my newbie butt

How is it connected to your TV?

BTW, you will NOT be happy. A TV cannot display a resolution that is useful
as a PC
