R1C1 reference style as default while opening Excel

P

Excel 2007

When I open Excel (by clicking on Excel shortcut or directly a file), it everytime opens in the R1C1 reference style. I don´t use this style in 99% of my work. It´s pretty harassing me to put it back to A1 style.

How to get rid of this?

Thanx for your time to help me.

Excel-Options => Formulas => Working with formulas and deactivate
R1C1 reference style

Hi Claus,

thanx, this is clear. But next time I start Excel, it is the same - R1C1 :-(.
I suppose there must be a problem with some .ini file or something like this.

There was a problem with the PERSONAL.xls file set up. I fixed it in that file and everythig works well.
