quirky problem

I recently downloaded Movie Maker 2. As I try to import
MPEG movies from a different internal hard drive the
program ceases to respond, leaving me with the importing
process window up. I then have to go to the task manager
and exit MM2 from there. I can import Window Media
Movies, AVIs, and even MPEGs on the C: hardrive. I have
tried moving the other MPEG movies to the C: drive and
they still will not work. Thanks in advance
