quicktime default in browser--i want...

....the windows media player to be used but now (for
something I am sure I did inadvertantly) quicktime is
invoked. how do I get the wMedia player back as the
default?

ME OS Gateway Piii IE 6.0

Open Media Player, go to the options menu and turn on the option for Media
Player to be default for the file type in question. Do the opposite for
Quicktime. Turn the option off.
