quicktime has replaced media player

Recently I went to view a quicktime movie on the net and it asked about
changing some associations. It used to be if I cliked on an MPEG file in a
web page media player would open. Now quicktime opens. How do I switch it
back?

Open WMP and ask it to reassoicate back tools-->options-->File Types
