new QT install made QT default ie6 player; how do I make it mplayer?

I installed the new version of QuickTime and it made itself the default
player whenever I click on a media link. How do I make the default
player Media Player?

Ron

Right click on a video file and select "open with" choose program and click
on Mplayer, be sure you check the box that says always use this option or
wording as such.
Or open up QT and go into the properties and uncheck all of the assoc. file
types.
