Quicken 2007 gets Visual C++ Runtime Error upon Launching

I installed TurboTax 2008 which required .Net 2.0 SP1 and for some
reason Quicken 2007 Premier will no longer launch. I get the message
Runtime Error! referencing program: C:\Program Files\Quicken\qw.exe
and then the message: This application has requested the Runtime to
terminate it in an unusal way....

I have uninstalled .Net 2.0 thinking it was getting some C++ runtimes
on the path that were incompatible, but that did not help.
