quickbooks files

We are trying to open an Intuit Quickbooks file that was
sent to us as an attachment in Outlook, and the file
should generally be a .qbw or .qbd file, but when we
recieve it, it is a .bin file that is not openable by
Quickbooks. We even tried to rename the file as a .qbw
file, but Quickbooks still cannot open up the file. If
there is anything anyone may know about Quickbooks or why
we the file is being changed as it is sent through e-
mail, please reply. Thank you in advance.

Whom ever sent you the file sent the wrong one, as for the
correct one.

Was the Outlook email rtf format?
Is your email program Outlook Express?
If yes to both questions, you will not be able to open the file.
The file must be attached to a plain text or HTML message.
