Quick View Missing

I have gone from 98 and Outlook to Vista and Mail. Frequently get jpg images
from artists for viewing. Outlook had Quick View and I used it all the time.
On Mail it shows on the drop down but is dimmed. Does it exist or am I only
seeing a ghost of things past?

Go into Tools > Options > Security and uncheck
"Do not allow attachments..." and "Block images..."
