Quick time hides the file down load pop up window by MS WINDOW

Usually, when I download music files from a website a popup window appears
with the option to open, run and cancel (that is the default of internet
explorer). That file appears for all type of files. The title of the window
is “File Download – Security Warningâ€. After installing Quick Time, when I
try to download a music file, the quick time window appears instead of the
pop up window by the WINDOW operating system. The Quick time becomes the
default. I would prefer the Window popup (to be the default), is there any
way I can install quick time in such a way so that quick time window does not
pop up file download. Quick time suggested me to talk to MS Window group. I
tried all the options in Quick Time to set up. But did not work.

Or try :
Control Panel -Folder Options
File types tab -Select the file type
Click Advanced > Tick "Confirm open ..."

The control Panel-File Options is already set that way.
I could not find "Mime settings" anywhere in Quick Trip.
Any other ideas, Thank you.
