what is error guru meditation? it sometimes pops up in a small black box with red letters - saying like ; warning [error] guru meditation [error] left click ...

and when u click it goes away... like it didnt matter...

what is it and what does it mean? im not hacked or infected am i?

If my memory servs me correct Guru Meditation is the name of the error that occurred on early versions of the Amiga home computers when they crashed. I have not come across this on any PC.

I do not know how that happend it is just pure coincidence. I once had an Amiga computer many years ago and I vaugly remember getting this error message come up.

I did see another webpage regarding 'Guru' as a virus, and others didnt. I just trusted the wikipedia one cos...well its wikipedia .

It makes sense its a virus or something similar, since our chum help_me probably doesnt have an Amiga computer.

He should probably use an online scanner to pick it up and rid it. or something like anti vir.

yea... our chum dosent even kno wat an amiga comp is -.-
i have an xP
and that error comes up rarely like when i open too much stuff or my comp is on too long e.e
