quick question

After upgrading an NT PDC to w2k (in its own domain), can I then run DC
Promo to demote the new 2000 server to a member, join another domain, and
create a child domain of the w2k domain I just joined? Tx.

Yes, you will loose all user accounts when you run dcpromo to make the DC a
member server.
