Quick Launch

I'm trying to add Word Pad to my Quick Launch. Quick
Launch is checked in Toolbars options and the Icon Windows
Media Player is on my Task Bar. When I drag the Word Pad
Icon down from my Start Menu it doesn't stay on the Task
Bar. I have used both the left and right button to drag
it with. Thanks

There must be room on the quick launch area to put the icon. Unlock the
taskbar by right clicking on an empty area of it and choosing Unlock
Taskbar. Left click and drag the icon you want down to the quick launch
area. If you have to, drag the now visible border to the right to make room
for the icon. After you get it down there, you can drag the border back
until you either cover the icons, which will now be stacked, or you drag it
to the edge of the last icon in the bar. Lock the taskbar to keep from
changing it accidentally.
