Quick Launch

When I'm trying to set Quick Launch Toolbar my whole bar gets double wided
so taking much room on the screen; to be true, my Taskbar on the right is
pretty long when in full; is it the reason? What can I do to run my Quick
Launch and to keep the bar on normal width?

Right-click an empty space on the taskbar, a menu should appear, navigate
to: Lock the Taskbar and click it, a checkmark should then show in front of
Lock the Taskbar - that's it

You must mean double-height, right? In that case, you need to set them
side-by-side, then the Taskbar can be resized, height-wise. To do that,
click the vertical spacer left of the lower bar, and slide it to the
right and up. That should get the two bas adjacent to each other. One
they're tall and adjacent, you can resize the height, and lock the
Taskbar to prevent resizing again.

Try small icons in Quick Launch and see what happens.

Right click the Taskbar | Select Lock the taskbar to unlock it | Right click
an empty area of the Quick Launch area and select View | Select Small icons

*View will not appear in the menu if the Taskbar is locked.

Also try placing all the toolbars,including the Quick Launch bar, on one
line then you can probably resize the Task Bar to one line.

xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs fixed the problem for one poster when nothing
else would help.
