Quick Launch won't open in new IE window.

I have XP MEDIA CENTER with all updates and Internet Explorer 6.0

On my old computer with XP PRO, when I clicked on an internet link in QUICK
LAUNCH, a separate window would open with the web site in the IE6 browser.

In my new computer with XP MEDIA CENTER with all updates, when I click on a
QUICK LAUNCH link it will open the web site in an IE browser window that is
already open, replacing the web site at which I was look in that window.

What setting do I have to change so a link in QUICK LAUNCH opens in a new
window?
