QUICK LAUNCH GOES WALKABOUTS

Hi, just a little annoying problem.

Each time i reboot my PC, running XPHome, the quick launch part of the task
bar has disappeared.
I then have to right click/toolbars and tick the quick launch text in order
to get it back.

This happens every time now after i turn off and start machine again.

Any simple help would be useful, thanks in anticiaption.
