As others have pointed out, you need to look for it in the Animation
pane. That is, when you click on an object, you can choose Custom
Animation from the Slide Show Window. On the right side of the screen,
you should see the animation pane, and on the left, you should see
(taking up about 4/5ths of the screen), you should see the rest of your
PowerPoint slide with the object selected. This is probably what you did
to add the animation.
Now, you want to look at the Animation pane on the right side of the
screen. The bottom portion of that pane lists all the animations you have
added for that slide. It should list the object you have animated with
Grow/Shrink. Look for that object on the list and click on it. You should
see an arrow to the right of the object in the list (remember, we are
looking in the animation pane on the right). Click on the arrow, and you
should see a come down that includes Effect Options. Click on Effect
Options.
Now a dialog box should pop up. If you have actually selected the
Grow/Shrink animation, you should see a check box (under Settings) for
Auto-reverse. Check it. Click OK.
That should do it. Let us know if you need any more help. Sorry I wasn't
clear last time.
