Question that has been asked I am sure "Free Decent Newsreader"

Jeff

I asked around about this and every one I have tried was not "Free", you got
a basic newsreader with most options turned off unless you paid a fee. I am
looking for a TRULY FREE Newsreader, capable of downloading, reading and if
neccesary putting together binary files, with simple to use features. I know
there has to be one out there somewhere. Thanks J

I notice this is a beta version. Is it stable, or should I use an
earlier version. I couldn't see any earlier one on the site though?

It's been "beat" for years, just getting better and better - current
version 2.0.15.1 beta38 is very stable, fully working and great to use...

===================

"Beta version" means that the author thinks that most serious
problems have been fixed but that it is likely that a few more will
appear.

This version should not last for more than a few months. Then the
program should be declared "operational" if no serious problems
have appeared.

I second that. I've been trying it out and it seems great.
