Question regarding 533/667 vs 800MHz RAM

I am putting together a new system using some parts I have and some new
stuff. I haven't bought the motherboard or RAM, yet, but here is what I do
have, so far:

-SeaSonic M12 SS-700HM ATX12V/ EPS12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CE,
CB, TUV, FCC - Retail

-Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M sharing L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

-Microsoft Windows XP Professional With SP2B 1 Pack - OEM

-D-Link DGL-4300 IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless Gaming Router

-SONY 16X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 16X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 5X DVD-RAM 16X
DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X ----CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2M Cache E-IDE/ATAPI DVD Burner
With Black front panel

-Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology)
320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache --SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM (x2)

-LIAN LI PC-V1200Aplus II Silver Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

-ATI 100-435846 Radeon X1950 CrossFire Edition 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI
Express x16 CrossFire Video Card

My question is concerning the motherboard and RAM. The MB I am looking at
is the Intel BOX975XBXLKR (or badaxe). I know there is one coming out soon
that supports 800MHz, but this one only supports 667 or 533 MHZ DDR2 DIMMs.
I already have 2 sticks of OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
(PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory (a different build that I am
using a lot of parts from). Am I right in thinking I cannot use the 800MHz
RAM with this motherboard? If not, I am going to either wait for the newer
MB to hit the vendors, or choose a different MB... (since I know this will
probably come up -- I have a buddy who is looking for a different MB and has
the badaxe -- I can probably get it for cheap from him, but not worth it if
I have to buy new RAM).

Thanks

Yes, you could use the faster RAM in that motherboard, BUT it would run at
the slower motherboard dictated speed.
