Question RE MS Tilt Wheel Mouse

Is this mouse suppose to have detents on the wheel when rotated???

Literature says something about it - others wheel mice do - but mine
does not.

My logitech wheelmouse has tiny bumps on the wheel that make it act as
detents. Sounds like your problem is on the inside of the mouse.

Mine doesn't... it just smoothly scrolls without any clicks.
