Question Please

I hope I can explain what I am trying to accomplish.
Is it possible to have a picture in pp and then another slide comes into
view and the first picture fades?
I am using PP2003.

Select the second slide.
Click Slide Show > Slide Transition.
Select Fade Smoothly.
Is that what you want?

Thank you tohlz,
what I am looking for is if you have a slide show and you have a slide
showing in the presentation and then another slide comes up and the first
slide seems to disappear.
Sorry if I did not express myself better.

Do you mean having first slide to fade into translucent when the second slide
comes up?
