Question on MBM and A7N8X Deluxe.

I'm running a A7N8X Deluxe and just installed MBM. It is showing a CPU diode
speed of 377 F. ! Everything appears to be running fine. What's up with that
reading?
Thx

While back I read if you try and use both W83L785T-S and W83L785T-S
Diode simultaneously you'll get weird results.

Try one of these for your board, worked great on mine.

Download .ini Files for the A7N8X Rev. 1.0, 1.02, 1.03, and 1.04 Boards
http://members.cox.net/nerbil/A7N8X/MBM Settings - A7N8X Rev1.0x.rar

Download .ini Files for the A7N8X Rev. 1.06 and 2.0 Boards

btw, this was on the same web page I found those INI files for
MBM5/A7N8X, (I lost the URL, but it was by some dude who goes by the
name "Nerbil".

I'm using 5.3.5.1 on a revision-2.0 A7N8X Deluxe/XP2800. Here's how mine is
set up:

Temp 1, CPU Diode temp: W83L785TS-S Diode
Temp 2, CPU Socket temp: Asus 1
Temp 3, Case: Asus 2
Temp 4, P2T sensor (connected to the PWRTMP1 header): Asus 3
Temp 5, HDD (Maxtor 6Y080P0): set to the hard drive name, which will be an
option when IDE hard drive scanning is selected in the General area)

Current readings: 36/39/24/22/23, updated every second. The diode sensor,
obviously will fluctuate much more often than the socket temp. Both the
diode and the socket temp usually max out at 40 or 41. It works fine.

I use the Asus P2T sensor about an inch behind my Plextor and Pioneer CD/DVD
burners.

hmm...power fan showing 0 ??

Slower fans (<~1800rpm) will do that. In MBM5 you can adjust the fan
multiplier and prescaler which should get you a reading with the correct
setting, it's always useful to have some idea of what the fan rpm should be)

hmm...power fan showing 0 ??

The fan probably spins too slowly to be recognized by either the BIOS or by
MBM.

I have mine set like this:

CPU fan: Asus-1
Case fan: Asus-2
Power supply fan: Asus-3

Current readings are 3515/2721/1687. My power fan is also slow, since its
speed is heat-controlled, but it does register.
