No Die Temp on A7N8X-E Deluxe w/MBM5??

I have an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe board, which is supposed to be revision 2.
For some reason using MBM, I am not getting the listed sensor which is
supposed to represent the Die Temp. I am going to verify the revision,
hopefully by examining the board, tomorrow, as I have a few new components
to install, but I am wondering if anybody else has the same problem.

From what I understand based upon reading a number of websites is that the
earlier revisions (before 2.0) weren't able to read Die Temp, but with the
second revision, it was accessible through sensor W83L785TS S according to
the MBM5 website. This particular sensor does not show up on the list of
detected sensors for my board, however...

Comments, advice?
Thanks!

Mine is 1.4 but not "-E"
Works well with the last version available on the site.
Must select "W83L785TS S - Diode".
However both W83L785TS S - Diode & W83L785TS S exist.

I don't have either of those listed in the sensors list.

To the one who emailed me some files... I did try those out, and while it
did have the popper sensor selected, it still did not show up in the list,
nor was getting a reading from that sensor...

For some reason MBM is not seeing these sensors... By the looks of it, only
revision 2 and above have access (or contain) these sensors. I haven't had
the chance to open up the case yet, but I'm thinking more and more that I
got screwed when I bought this a little over a year ago... It was bought
from NewEgg under the description that it was revision 2.0...

The A7N8X-E Deluxe model didn't come in a revision 2.0 That's the
standard A7N8X. Apparently Asus did something to the board to make the
CPU diode unreadable in the -E models.

No offense, but I have seen mention of a revision 2.0 for this board in
numerous places all over the internet, along with many posts about it right
here in this group... I'd have to believe it to be true that there was in
fact a revision 2.0...

Well, Apparently I got screwed... My revision 2.0 board is actually a
revision 1.01. To me that sounds like one of the first issued boards. Not
sure how many revisions there was, but I must have one of the early ones
despite paying for a board that was supposed to be revision 2.0... Damn
NewEgg... Love their prices and service, but their false advertising is
getting to me...

Not as far as I know.

The -E has only ever had one board revision hit the market.

Yeah, it has been mentioned (incorrectly) in this group. The only
revison available of the -E model has been the 1.01.

The A7N8X Standard had a revison 2.0, as did the A7N8X Deluxe.
I believe in both cases, the 2.0 revision gave a 400FSB.

But the A7N8X-E Deluxe only had 1.01

I believe in both cases, the 2.0 revision gave a 400FSB.

The older revisions from 1.04 (but not before) would support 400DDR with a
BIOS upgrade. I'm under the impression it actually runs at something like
197MHz. It wasn't a bad board, but it's pretty marginal for 200MHz DDR FSB.
