question on footer/header

Hi,

I was wondering if this is doable in word 03. I have a footer and header on
the document. When inserting a section break (odd page) onto a document, i
notice that every even page (e.g. page 2 or 4 and so on) do not have the
header/footer in them. I know that it makes sense that the header/footer only
appear on the odd page. But is there any ways of making them appear too on
all the pages including the even number of pages?

Thank you in advance

File | Page Setup | Layout; clear the check box for "Different odd and
even."

Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for your reply. It's been unchecked all along when i checked the
page setup as instructed. The result is still the same. The footer/header did
not show up on the second page when inserting the section break(odd page).
It's only a total blank page with nothing on it.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance

No, it's not checked and neither is "Different odd and even". I know it's
blank because i checked it through print preview.

Any clues?

Thank you in advance

Note that "Different first page" must be cleared for each separate section,
unlike "Different odd and even" which always applies to the whole document.

I would probably change the section break to next page instead of odd page,
and make sure your even page header/footer read same as previous

Changing the type of sections would certainly eliminate any filler pages
(which are always completely blank in Word), if that is the OP's problem.
