question on auto load

all of a sudden i'm not getting the auto menu [the one that pops up asking
me what i want to do] when i insert a disk into my cd/dvd drive. is there
someplace i can check to see if it got switched off or something? TIA.
 
Auto load will not work any more I have to use "computer" to get it to
run,also get error message SPir unE.dll at start up..help?
