Question: How to Hide Drive D: from all users but me?

I have an extra drive (D:) in my computer. I use it for backup only,
and can't figure out how to hide it from every user but I.

Any info. appreciated. Please be detailed.

Well, I have done the following upon occasion.

When setting up a new computer for a customer I create a 5 gig logical
partition while using the floppy version of Partition Magic. I then hide the
partition. I use this hidden partition to store Drive Images which are
created with the floppy version of Drive Image 2002. Drive Image can see the
hidden partition but it is almost invisible while in Windows. NOTE: Drive
Manager "will" see it as unidentified. It will NOT show up in Windows
Explorer or any other file manager program.

While in Windows Drive Manager, you can assign it a drive letter which will
"unhide" it, so knowledgeable people can work around this method. It is for
computer users - not computer geeks!

The easiest thing to do is remove access permissions from all and add
permissions for those you wish to have access (you). Read about this in
the articles "System Administration" available in "Help" on your computer.

Simpler, but as indicated on the web site not secure. Further, only as
good as one believes this non-Microsoft documentation about a registry.

Is there Microsoft-written documentation for this?
