Question about searching the directory

I have one user that logs onto his local machine account (XP Pro, 2k3 AD
domain). And because he does this he cannot broswe the directory for
printers and such. He is also not able to connect to Exchange via Outlook.
I expected it to ask him for his credentials but it just says it cannot find
the server. I can browse the network via "My Network Places" and if he
wants to connect to a share it asks for his creds.

Can I permenently connect him to a network printer?
Why can his Outlook client not find the exchange server?

Thanks in advance.

You will have to give him a Domain account to allow him to access
Domain resources. When he connects to a printer supply the Domain
credentials eg user mydomain\mydomaccount and password mydompasswd.

As to why he can't find the exchange server, how is his DNS setup?
It's most likely a DNS problem.
