Question About Remote Network Access

I have an office in Tennessee, and I work from Ny. My office consists of
about 10 networked pc's (Winxp home) and a printer. I would like to be a
part of that network from Ny. Is this possible? I want to be able to print
to the printer and be able to see the network shares etc... We do not have
any vpn servers running in our office, although we do have a couple linux
server online.

I would also like to find an application that acts like an intercom between
me and my business partner. I have looked around and cannot find anything
that works well behind a router (which I am behind and so is my office).

If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Ok, I have enabled the vpn per this page:

router (remotely) to accept the ports that were suggested per knowlesgebase
article here:

But I am still getting an error 800.
Any suggestions?
