Question about Bootcamp on MacBook

Hi:

With the prices of OSes being what they are I'm sort of disinclined to
purchase a second copy of XP-Pro to run on my new MacBook, but was
wondering if it's possible to run Windows 2000 using Bootcamp? That
would probably work to run most of my critical Windows environment
programs. The Apple website says Bootcamp allows XP or Vista, but
doesn't say specifically that it disallows 2000.

The Bootcamp folks would be the ones to ask about this. I've noticed that
Parallels is now offering a package that includes XP. A nice move on their
part as that takes care of OS license worries; the price for that addition
seems reasonable to me.
