Windows XP re-install - Parallels Desktop

Hello,

I presently have Windows XP SP2 installed on a MacBook Pro using Apple's
BootCamp. I would like to delete the WinXP partition I've created, install
Parallels Desktop and re-install the same copy of Windows XP SP2 using
Parallels. How do I go about cancelling the XP authorization on the machine
so that I can legally reinstall in under Parallels and re-activate the same
copy of Windows XP?

Thanks for the help...

You don't.
You just install again and activate it again when you get the opportunity.
If you cannot activate over the Internet - do it by phone.

Thanks for the quick response! I had assumed that Microsoft's activation
might be similar to Adobe's, where one can de-authorize and re-authorize a
copy of, for example, Photoshop on a specific machine.

There is no limit to how many times you can install Windows XP on any one
given machine.
If it is not an OEM version - there's no limit on how many times you can
*transfer* Windows XP to a different system.
There is no "de-activation" procedure. You just activate again each time
you are asked to do so.
