I have a Compaq Presario with WinXP Home . This is has come with Windows
Media Player. A friend of mine has sent me a CD-R using Quick Time Player. I
downloaded and installed Quick Time 6.5.2 and tried to open it but I get
the following ERROR msg:

Please locate the file "MVI_0537.dv". It was previously on "Macintosh HD"

What could be the problem?

Thank you for the suggestion. I downloaded and installed the CUSTOM version
with ALL the features from the below suggested Web page. However, when I try
to OPEN it, I get the following msg:

Couldn't open the file "Golf practice.mov" because a necessary data
reference could not be resolved.

I thought that Quick Time can also be used in Win XP Home!
Thanking you
