I have a Compaq Presario preloaded with WinXP.

Is there anyway, I can reinstall Backweb Application 1940576? If I don't,
there is a annoying Runtime Error dialog box that appears everytime, the PC
boots!

Start>Run>type "msconfig" and hit enter>goto "Startup">Scroll down and find the
Backweb Agent and untick the box> Click Apply/Ok>Restart the computer and see if it
helps

I have the same problem...I did the msconfig and didn't see any backweb agent
but still get the message when I bootup the PC...does the backweb agent goe
by any particular name?

Uninstall it. It's scumware.
