I am very new at access and trying to build my own. Can someone logg onto my
PC and fix a few things and I will pay you? If not here is my question.
I have two tables tblbuyers & tblsellers Customers contact me
about selling their home. I get info bedrooms, bath, stories, garage.... and
the same goes for people that are lookinmg to buy. If a customer calls and
says I have a house that is Xbeds,Xbaths, X garage.... How can I do a fast
search and see if I have a buyer for them. I would like to be able to set
several criteria such as location, amount, bedrooms, baths.....

Could you post the structures of your tables - fieldnames, datatypes etc.?

What constitutes a match? If someone wants a 2 1/2 bath house and there's a
seller with a 3 bath house, would that be accepted as a hit or rejected as a
mismatch? What if some buyer is flexible on some criterion (stories) - wants a
3br but doesn't care if it's one floor or two?

This may be a bit more complex than you're assuming!
