Quarantine hangs

Every time I attempt to start the quarantine viewer the
application stops responding and must be killed via the
task manager. Anyone have any ideas as to the cause. All
the other components of the application seem to function
as designed.
 
Go to C:\program files\Microsoft AntiSpyware to see if you can access the
Quarantine there.
 
Give it time--perhaps a long time. Overnight wouldn't hurt. Additionally,
if you are trying to recover a large number of files which reside in the
Program Files subtree, I would strongly recommend moving or copying these
files to a new location outside that subtree before the next reboot.
