Q: does "free download" mean the program is indeed totally freeware?

Overview
Qliner hotkeys is a free and open source keyboard productivity environment.
It is the first product of it's kind that is usable by computer geeks and
non geeks alike.

Free and Open Source. I think that covers it.

That's the problem with that terminology. It's used by both those who
provide legitimate freeware as well as those who want to trick you into
using shareware or some other kind of non-freeware. However, in this
case (according to the website) the program is freeware:

"Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including

My current killfile: aafuss, Chrissy Cruiser, Slowhand Hussein and others.
No adware, cdware, commercial software, crippleware, demoware, nagware,
PROmotionware, shareware, spyware, time-limited software, trialware,
viruses or warez please.

WHAT'S SO BAD ABOUT CAPS LOCK?

I use cap locks all the time when I word process. I wouldn't *want* to
disable the feature.

WHAT'S SO BAD ABOUT CAPS LOCK?
I use qliner hotkeys for quite some time, and it's a really nice
program. If you have a win-key, you can use that, and you can set how
long you have to press it before it opens Hotkeys. So no interfering at
all with the normal winkey-functions.
Caps locks is only for keyboards without winkey, and I guess you have to
press that for some time too, but I'm not sure about that.
It's the first program I know that can set hotkeys in a really simple
way.

It is as free as it gets (MIT License), it is my hobby project, I give
the result away! I do not have any commericial ambitions!
