I'm trying to run the security patch on a computer but keep getting a
undate.inf error does anyone know of this problem? the system shuts down
like the problem most others are having?

and go to the part of registering the files

regsvr32 (filename) register those nine files and you
are home free to install the patch
 
What 9 files?
