putting calendar on the desktop

Hi
Does anyone else think that the most useful place for the
calendar is on the desktop (or at least have a link to it
there). But how to go about doing it? Does anyone have
any ideas?

Have you tried dragging the Calendar folder from the Folder List view and
choosing Copy or Move
