putting back those pictures on the top of my screen and that url thingie

Going on the assumptin that I am almost completely
computer illerterate (<wrong spelling), which I am, and
going on the assumption that I got very frustrated and
was messing with buttons (which I did), I now find that I
need some help. When I pull up a web site, or a list of
web sites I now no longer have at the top of my screen
the icons that indicate: back, forward, print,
mail,etc. Would someone please be so very kind as to
tell me how I get these back to the top of my screen?
Also, when I pull up my homepage, the bar where a url is
typed in, is gone. Please someone, how do I get this
back? Could one of you "computer smarties" PLEASE help
me?

I am just a computer dummy, but that's one thing I do know how to do.

Right-click on a blank part of the toolbar.
Make sure that Standard Buttons and Address Bar are checked.
Sometimes the address bar can hide, so look for a tiny part of it if you
can't see the whole thing.

Others have told you how to get back your buttons and address bar. I'd
like to point you towards an area that might some day be useful:
system restore, and also urge you to get a secondary registry backup.
System restore can be found via start \ programs \ accessories \
system tools. If you are creating automatic restore points, then it
may at some point be useful to put your registry and important system
files where they were before a problem began.

The secondary backup is erunt.zip, a 575K freeware utility. It's easy
to use, despite an overly chatty readme.txt. It specifically suggests
being used when you're trying out new software.
