Putting a webcam on a wireless usb link?

I'd like to be able to put my webcam wherever I want in my house.
Primarily I'd like to put it so it's pointing at my driveway at the
front of the house, but the PC is on the other side of the house.

I know that you can get USB cable extensions, and these could go quite
far, but I wouldn't want a cable trailing over the house (or rather my
wife wouldn't...!)

Is there another solution? I would prefer it that I have something
that is powered that I could plug the camera into, and it would send
the information via a wireless link to the PC. Maybe there would be
something on the PC side to retrieve the information.

I do have a wireless network in the house if that's any help.
