Hi !
Is there a freeware that could REALLY purge quickly the printer jobs ?
For example : I start to print a huge doc... About 3 pages after the
beginning, I see that something is wrong and I want to stop the printing...
Most of the time, the cancel option doesn't work efficiently in the
printer's jobs list... takes sometimes 5 or 6 pages to work, maybe more...
I'd like an app that immediatly kill the queue and purge the printer's
memory... Does this exist ? under win XP family ?
TIA

Try:

JSI Tip 5200. How do I purge documents from a print queue, using a
command? <http://www.jsifaq.com/subk/tip5200/rh5200.htm>

Or see the visual basici script (.vbs) "Prnqctl.vbs"
that resides in Windows\System32 directory (XP/2003).
See page for syntax/use.

9675 » SetPrinter.exe is a command-line tool to set configurations or
states of local or remote printers
http://www.jsifaq.com/SUBT/tip9600/rh9675.htm

Setprinter.exe is part of the "Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools"
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...69-57ff-4ae7-96ee-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en

but...if you don't want to download and install
the whole 12mb reskit, then here is the setprinter.exe file only:
