Purchase Windows XP Professional -- License specific to a language

Hi,

I am currently in the process of buying a legitimate Windows XP Professional
version in Sweden. Will my license for Swedish Windows XP be valid for
English language Windows XP as well?

I would like to use it in English, because I don't understand the Swedish,
but the retail original that I want to buy is a Swedish version. Is it legal
for me to use Windows XP Professional in English if I own a license for it in
Swedish?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Zapm,
Yes you can install the XP in English and still have the License Valid for
it,simply when you will install the XP or somebody else will be represented
with Window to chose which Language and Time and Date Setting,so personaly I
can't see any problem in that, and if you got the gut to learn Swedish you
could have in the future the European Language Tool from Microsoft installed
on your XP.
Good Luck

If you want to have an English-language XP installed, you must buy an
English-language version of the operating system. Don't buy a Swedish
version.

No. If you want to use English WinXP, you'll have to purchase and
install and English copy.

There is no choice of language during setup or any other time.
You may be thinking of Regional Settings, but they do not change the
language.
If the OP wants Windows XP in English, that is what the OP needs to buy.
