Purchase Outlook 2003 standalone?

B

Bryce Stenberg

Hi,

Searching back through this list I see mentioned that Outlook 2003 can be
purchased as a standalone product (i.e. without having to buy the Office
suite).

I just phoned Microsoft Sales and Service (in New Zealand) and was told it
is only available as part of Office 2003.

Is this true? Or should I be able to buy it as a standalone product still?

Thanks,
Bryce Stenberg.

It may be different for NZ, but outlook is available individually in the us.
Not sure why you'd only buy it, since the suite is about 2 times as much for
4 programs and upgrading the suite allows all of the office envelope
features to work - it's well worth the extra cost.

Check online software sales sites for your country - I know Amazon us
carries just outlook.

Outlook 2003 can be bought as a standalone product in NZ.
Try

and
http://www.microsoft.com/nz/retailers/ for retailers.
To be honest, I'd only purchase Outlook 2003 as part of one of the Office
2003 suites. You really need Word 2003 installed to get the best benefit
from Outlook 2003. The cost difference is not that great with the basic
versions and there may be specials on (I know there ear some currently in
Australia).
