Publishing with Frontpage

I regularly update (minimum 5 times per week) my web site using the Frontpage
2003 "publish website" function.
One day the command stopped working, and I get an error message telling me I
need to install or repair my TCP/IP settings if I wish to communicate with a
remote site.
I do get a dialogue box asking me if I want help repairing the network
settings but when I click yes, nothing happens.
I have pinged the remote site without any trouble, my Windoes XP is fully up
to date, I have used the network wizard to reinstall settings, I have run the
repair Frontpage and finally uninstalled/reinstalled Frontpage, all without
success.
The ISP says all is well with them and the problem is mine.
I have knowingly made no changes to my system since it last worked, my
McAfee anti-virus and firewall are up to date and working, any ideas?
